Awards and Prizes

Smt. D.Pattammal has been the recipient of many prizes and awards in her music career that include First prizes in competitions held in Indian Fine Arts Society and Music Academy. We are providing here some of the photographs of the awards, certificates and the press coverage of those events. Since some of them are taken from magazines that are more than 50 years old, the print quality is not very good.

She received the title Kalaimamani from the Government of Tamilnadu in 1994.
